After emerging in 2003 as a local curiosity, RoMak & the Space Pirates have continued to expand and appeal to different audiences everywhere with their attention-grabbing music, creative image and unpredictable live show. In many ways, they are a trend blender of pop-culture mashed down, swirled around and pureed into something completely different, yet eerily familiar. They consider themselves "punk-pop": pop music with an intelligent and dualistic edge. Their songs tell stories of ironic forgetfulness in a post-vintage world, obsessing over concepts of show business, glamour, historical pop-culture events and science fiction. Live, they are known for their unique approach to showmanship and human relations.

Alexis Arquette guest appearance on new song

Alexis Arquette came to the studio in August and lent some guest vocals to our new song "I can't find a place to park"! I'm excited to have her making a special appearance on the debut album. We do a sort of call-out and response thing with the verses. If I may say so, it sounds pretty awesome. We had a lot of fun in the studio together. It was good times.
